Okay so this story is purely fictional and has no resemblance to any characters living or dead whatsoever.
Now that the disclaimer is done, let's begin.
"I'm done with the world", said Brian before he jumped off the springboard down into the 8ft deep part of the swimming pool. He rose up to the surface and felt the cold water trinkle down from his head. It was 4 a.m. in the morning and this had become his daily routine. He felt that if he could bear the cold winter, he would surely be able to bear the cold hearts he had to face everyday. What he hated more than that was the facade. The flawless public facade that masked their private spite for him. He was done trying to change the world. So he decided to live with it.
"Hey Brian! Wanna join us for the party tonight? It's gonna be so cool. Just wear something nice.", shouted Aaron while speeding across the road on his fancy Kawasaki Z. Brian felt the despair since a long time ago but he kept it himself. It didn't matter to him anymore. He was so seasoned by the pain that he had practically become emotionless. "Okaay, I'll see.", said Brian in a fading voice. He knew that Aaron didn't give a f*ck and neither did the rest of his so called 'friends'. Urgh! Friends, how he hated that word. There was a time when he would die to spend time with them but now things were different. He wanted to be away from them for as long as possible. All those faces he thought had his back, didn't even care about his existence anymore, although they did pretend to care. Aaron, who was once his bestfriend had now become a backstabbing b*tch. Then there was Monica, Kimberly, Valencia and Selina. Selina was the only bridge between Brian and the group. She never sided with anyone, she was the innocent one who always listened. She was probably the only reason why Brian didn't move to LA. After Brian's breakup with Monica, things took a turn for the worse. The once inseparable group was now broken. No secret was shared with the group. Groupception began. Aaron capitalised on this and in a way turned everyone against Brian. He would often create a situation to gain everyone's sympathy and make Brian take the fall for it.
Brian used to tell all of this to Selina, and she agreed to it. She could see it happen. There were two other classmates of his whom he would confide in; Fred and George. Despite doing all of this, he was a human after all. He felt miserably hurt. The people he thought cared for him the most, had abandoned him and were pretending as if everything was normal. Something inside him snapped and he knew it would never be the same again.
It's funny how sometimes the people you'd take a bullet for, are the ones behind the trigger.
THE END.
