Be me.

Here's a poem that I wrote outta nowhere which I thought I'll publish but then I was like meh, NO. And then I thought why not!

A lot of me

Wants to do a lot of things

Sadly I can't dance

To all the songs my heart sings

I wish life were a fairy tale

Oh how great would it be!

To live life like a story

The way you'd like to see

Go to places far away,

Where no one can find you

All the little joys of life

What if they came true!

It doesn't hurt to dream

So do it as you will

Make yourself the God

And all your wishes fulfil

For life gives us lemons

The worst of the lot

Which make us squirm

So what?

It is easy to fall

The darkness awaits

To engulf you with the black of

Sorrow, fear and hate

Its he who stands

With the light of hope

Stands out from the rest

Who gave up on hope

And when you become that man

You'll see

How tough it is to be me

Who knew life had so much to give

And so much more to take from me

All those dreams they're fading

Like that sun at the end of the sea

I wanted to be so much

But me is all I could be.
